Recyclers and reprocessors who grind, wash and pelletise it; compounders who blend it to a specification; manufacturers who run regrind back into their own extrusion or moulding; and brokers and traders who aggregate loads for domestic mills and export. The materials US buyers ask for most on Scrapo are LDPE, PET/PETE, HDPE, PP, ABS and PVC.
PET bottle buyers are mostly wash-line recyclers that turn baled bottles into clean flake and food-grade rPET, and brokers who move bales to them. They buy by the bale and grade on colour, contamination and label and cap content - clear bottles fetch the most. See plastic bales and rPET.
Post your material with the city it ships from; buyers searching that polymer see where it is, and nearby buyers can quote with lower freight. For low-value grades, a local buyer usually pays more in the end than a distant one quoting a higher price.
They buy scrap from many generators, consolidate it into full loads, and sell it on to recyclers and mills at home and abroad. For a business with a small or irregular volume, a dealer is often the practical buyer; for steady volume, selling direct to a recycler usually pays more.
Post a listing: the polymer, the form, the quantity, your price per pound or per ton or price on request, and where it ships from. Posting is free, and buyers looking for that material contact you directly.
