BCRS Malta is the operator of Malta’s Beverage Container Refund Scheme, aimed at promoting sustainability and reducing waste. The scheme encourages consumers to return single-use beverage containers such as plastic, metal, and glass, through Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) placed across the islands. For every returned container, consumers receive a monetary refund, supporting a circular economy and helping Malta meet its environmental targets.
