Polyvinyl chloride, which covers two very different materials. Rigid PVC is pipe, profile, sheet and blister; flexible PVC contains plasticiser and turns up as cable sheathing, hose, flooring and footwear. They cannot be processed together.
The median asking price for PVC scrap on Scrapo is $400 / MT, or $0.40 per kilo and $0.18 per pound, with the middle half of offers between $200 / MT and $600 / MT. That is the Scrapo Price Index for October 2026, taken over every PVC listing posted in the last 12 months and converted to US dollars per metric tonne.
Recyclers who wash and reprocess it, compounders, manufacturers who run regrind back into their own production, and traders who aggregate loads for export. Companies asking to buy PVC on Scrapo are based mainly in India, the United States, Pakistan, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and Malaysia.
