On your Home page you’ll find items for sale in your area. Simply click an item in which you are interested to see the item page. On the item page you will find more images of the item, can read item description and view seller information. You can also share the item with your friends or partners on zupamart.
You can also search for an item in the search bar. You can refine your search by adding a location or applying filters in the search results page.
Once you find an item, click Name Your Price on the item page to start negotiating the price.
Negotiate the price
With zupamart, buyers and sellers negotiate everything. First, you negotiate a price. When you’ve reached a price that makes both of you happy, a Purchase Order is created. Exchange emails to negotiate shipping, payment, return and refund terms. Negotiation is easy and fun with the zupamart price negotiation panel.
To get started, click Name Your Price.
In the price negotiation panel that opens on the right of your screen, you can name a price you are willing to pay, or request a price from the seller. To name your price, simply click in the Name your price field to enter your offer. To request the price from a seller, simply click Request Price. When the price request has been sent, wait for a seller to respond.
Three additional tabs help you communicate with the seller.
Click the Chat tab to have a text conversation with the seller. If the seller is online, you will get a response immediately. There is a green circle next to the seller’s profile image indicating that the seller is currently online. When the seller is offline, your message will be saved and seen by the seller the next time he is online.
In chat, you can negotiate terms, ask questions and discuss shipping and payment terms.
Click the Location icon to bring up a map of the seller’s geographical location. If this is an item you’ll need to pick up, location may be important.
Click the Cog icon to indicate how many items you want to buy. For example, if you are buying a T-shirt, enter how many T-shirts you want.
Ok, Name Your Price. If the price is too low, you’ll get a message asking you to try again by entering a new price. You receive this automated message because the seller has turned auto-responder ON to reject all offers below the minimum price the seller has set for this item. If you send three consecutive offers that are below the minimum price, you’ll be prompted to Request Price from the seller.
If your offer is above the minimum price, i.e. if it’s within the negotiable range set by the seller, your offer will be received by the seller. Wait for a seller to make a counter-offer.
If your offer is equal to or above the ideal price set by the seller, your offer will be automatically accepted and your purchase will be completed without further negotiations.
Please note that offers are automatically rejected or accepted only when the seller has turned auto-responder ON. When auto-responder is turned OFF, all of your offers will be received by the seller.
When you receive an offer from a seller, you can either accept it by clicking the Buy button, or make a counter-offer.
You can view a seller’s profile by clicking on the seller’s name in the panel. You can also view the item you negotiate to buy by clicking on the item image in the Offers column on the right.
You can also stop and quit negotiations by clicking Quit on the top of the negotiation panel. The seller will receive a notification that you have quit negotiations. You can click the “x” in the top right corner to minimize the negotiation panel. Please note that by minimizing the panel your negotiation remains active. If you no longer intend to continue negotiating the price with this seller, please click Quit.
You can click the Buy button at any time during negotiations if you’re happy with the offered price.
After you click Buy, you will be asked to confirm your intention to buy this item for the offered price. Click Yes if you confirm, or click No if you have changed your mind or clicked Buy accidentally. If you click Yes, you will see a confirmation screen with the email address of the seller. You can contact a seller by clicking on the email link or wait for a seller to contact you to discuss shipping and payment terms.
Purchase Orders
You will also see a link to view a Purchase Order, which has been generated by zupamart to bind this deal. Click the link to see a Purchase Order. Make sure all information is correct and follow the instructions provided in the purchase order.
The Purchase Order displays the item bought and sold, the quantity and the total price. It also provides the name, email addresses and locations of both seller and buyer.
Please note that the Purchase Order is not a legally binding document. It serves as a confirmation of intention of the buyer to purchase the item for the price agreed during negotiations.
If you haven’t heard from the seller within 48 hours after the transaction, please contact the seller by email or message.
That’s it! You’ve just made a deal on zupamart.

Now, just wait for those offers to roll in!
You’ll see all buyer offers on the right side of your screen.
Negotiate with buyers
As a seller, you’ll see Offers listed on the right of your screen. Click each offer to see the buyer and the price they’ve offered. If you have enabled auto-response, the buyer will automatically receive a message if the price offered is too low. The buyer will be asked to offer a new price until the offer is within your negotiable range.
Please note that you won’t see buyer’s offers that fall below a minimum price if you turned auto-response ON. To be able to receive all offers, turn auto-response OFF in your negotiation panel.
Negotiation panel has three tabs to help you communicate with the buyer.
Click the Chat tab to have a text conversation with the buyer. If the buyer is online, you will get a response immediately. There is a green circle next to the buyer’s profile image indicating that the buyer is currently online. When the buyer is offline, your message will be saved and seen by the buyer the next time he is online.

Click the Location icon to bring up a map of the buyer’s geographical location. If this is an item you’ll need to deliver, location may be important.
Click the Cog icon to indicate how many offers you are willing to accept from the buyer. You can set a limit on the number of offers the buyer can make during negotiations. If the limit hasn’t been set, the buyer can make an unlimited number of offers. You can set or change the limit any time.
As a seller you receive offers or price requests from buyers. When you receive a price request, click Name Your Price to enter your offer. Wait for the buyer to accept your offer or to make an alternative offer. The response time will be longer if the buyer is currently offline.
When you receive an offer from the buyer, you can either accept it by clicking the Sell button or make a counter-offer by entering your price below your name in the panel.
You can view a buyer profile by clicking on the buyer’s name in the panel. You can also view the item you negotiate to sell by clicking on the item image in the Offers column on the right.

You can click the Sell button any time during negotiations when you’re happy with the offered price.
After you click Sell, you will be asked to confirm your intention to sell this item for the offered price. Click Yes if you confirm, or No if you have changed your mind or clicked Sell accidentally. more >Zupamart is more than just a marketplace; it’s a place for you to connect with other buyers and sellers who may share your interests. The shoe shop owner you find on zupamart may share your fetish for shoes!
Think of a Partner as a connection. Your Partners are people you connect with on zupamart. They see your new listing in the zupamart stream the moment you create it, so you are more likely to receive first offers on any item from your Partners. Thus, by adding more partners, you increase your potential customer base and the number of offers you receive on any item you sell.
Your Partners’ activities will appear in your stream, whether they are adding new items to their stores or sharing something they like.

Let other zupamart users know about your experience with a buyer or seller.

If you are a buyer and a seller, you’ll have ratings for both activities.
Seller overall ratings appear as thumbs up and thumbs down on the user profile page and the item page. These overall ratings are based on the question “I would recommend this seller to people I know”, where Yes responses get a thumbs up and No responses get a thumbs down.
Please note that buyer ratings do not appear on the user profile page or item page. They only appear on the detailed rating page.
more >On Zupamart, the buyer and seller decide how to complete the payment transaction. Once the buyer and seller agree on a price and close the deal, the payment process begins.
Accept Payments
When you create a new store, you indicate your accepted payment methods. You can have buyers pay Cash on delivery or you can allow buyers to pay via PayPal in Zupamart.

Pay for a Purchase
Once buyer and seller agree on a price, you can pay for your purchase according to the seller’s accepted payment method.
Pay via PayPal
Once you as the buyer have reached a price agreement with the seller and have agreed on delivery and payment terms, click Pay button on the confirmation screen if you want to make PayPal payment. Once you have entered the correct item and payment information, click Pay. You will be taken to the PayPal login page to complete your payment.
